Learning How to Learn

Yesterday I started the Coursera Course “Learning How to Learn”.

It’s one of the life lessons that you should have learned in school. It’s important for studying for school, for university and for life.

In every step of your life you should learn and experience new things. We are continuously developing ourselves and we should never stop learning.

Be curious and ask questions. That’s how you learn the most.

No matter how old you are, it’s not too late to learn something new and to learn how to learn.

It’s a really interesting course and you can watch the short videos real quick in the morning or in the evening, or during a break.

I will do the course everyday for 30 minutes for the next weeks.

Once you stop learning, you start dying.

— Albert Einstein

Learning doesn’t mean that you should go to school or to university. You can learn from other people, from your own children, in online courses or by travelling. There are endless possibilities to educate yourself. Even if you just get comfy on your couch and read a good book. I especially can recommend biographies, for example from Michelle Obama, Elon Musk or from whatever topic you’re interested in. There are a lot of books about politics, athletes, scientists, actors etc.

If you don’t like reading books, I recommend listing to audio books. You can listen to them while you’re driving to work or while you’re doing your sport session of the week. You can even relax on the couch and just listen to book. Just try to not fall asleep (it happens to me a lot)!

Check out the Coursera course “Learning how to learn” or if you’re not interested in that, there are so many other courses on that website.
